Lucifer is cCon incarnate.

Sympathy for the Devil is an epochal song, sung by epochal rockstar Mick Jagger, one of his many epochal creations with fraternal Glimmer Twin Keith Richards. Charlie Watts said of Jagger that he is an underappreciated lyricist. Sympathy for the Devil proves the point by unintentionally revealing an eternal truth. Its parade of horribles, all satanically inspired, is also a litany of Centralized Control, aka cCon.

Please allow me to introduce myself I’m a man of wealth and taste I’ve been around for a long, long years Stole million man’s soul an faith

How do you steal a man’s soul and faith? Take control of his life. Control his money. Control his job. Control his freedom of speech. Control his life with cCon. cCon was the way of the world until fairly recently, the 1700s in America to be precise. Before then, individual freedom wasn’t really a thing.

And I was ’round when Jesus Christ Had his moment of doubt and pain Made damn sure that Pilate Washed his hands and sealed his fate

Pontius Pilate was the Roman prefect of Judea, Roman Rule being the very apotheosis of cCon. Rome was cCon! Pilate embodies that cCon. Of course, cCon was endemic to all imperial rule: Ghengis Khan, Louis XIV, the Russian Czars, etc. It wasn’t until 1776 that dCon rule made an appearance, and then in only one country, the United States of America. It took until the 1800s to reach more countries and – sadly – until the 1900s to reach most countries. You see, over the broad sweep of human history, cCon isn’t a Right or Left thing. It’s a Centralized Control thing, from the Right then and the Left now.

Stuck around St. Petersburg When I saw it was a time for a change Killed the Czar and his ministers Anastasia screamed in vain

The benighted nation of Russia went from cCon disaster to cCon disaster, from the Czar to the Marxists, cCon monstrosities both. As awful as the czars often were, they didn’t hold a candle to the Communists when it came to mass murder, subsequent to mass subjugation. One hundred million people perished in the cCon apocalypse that was Bolshevik communism, the greatest catastrophe in human history.

I rode a tank Held a general’s rank When the blitzkrieg raged And the bodies stank

Hitler’s generals personify genocidal cCon.

I watched with glee While your kings and queens Fought for ten decades For the gods they made

Kings and queens fought cCon driven wars and only cCon driven wars. Jagger blames those wars solely on religion, no doubt because he is a near royal himself and views himself as above religion. But, religion was a lesser tool used by an absolute monarchy. Their total control came from collecting taxes and wielding the sword. Religion back then was about opiating the masses more than controlling them.

I shouted out Who killed the Kennedys? When after all It was you and me

Nope, it wasn’t you and me that killed the Kennedys. Strident anti-communist JFK was killed by committed communist Lee Harvey Oswald. cCon fervor drove the assassin of the Cuban Missile Crisis hero.

Pleased to meet you Hope you guessed my name, oh yeah But what’s puzzling you Is the nature of my game

Nope, not puzzled at all. You are a cCon saint selling sex and seduction as a pathway to subjugation.

Just as every cop is a criminal And all the sinners saints As heads is tails Just call me Lucifer

“Heads is tails” is an apt characterization of the bizarro epoch we are currently experiencing. To wit, “Every cop is a criminal” is a solid reading of BLM’s operating principle, while “All the sinners saints” sounds like the M.O. of every Soros DA.

“Just call me Lucifer.”

You don’t say. Lucifer is the man behind every cCon calamity since the beginning of time? Makes sense.

That’s because Lucifer is cCon incarnate. He doesn’t need supernatural abilities. Hell, he doesn’t even need to be real. All that’s needed are cCon policies, and useful idiots to promote and enforce them.

Thanks Mick & Keef! Unintended no doubt, but your epochal song enlightens well beyond your ken.
